Today marks one month since we left Georgia. We are still settling, but Florida is feeling more and more like home.
I was reflecting on this whole journey to art, and I couldn't help but feel grateful.
If you didn't already know, I started dabbling in painting around 2016, when I lived in Spokane, WA.
But I didn't dive in fully until 2020, when I was brand new in Georgia and the pandemic hit. It was in Georgia that I registered my art business and began selling paintings for the first time.
I just wanted to express my gratitude to all of you who supported me in any way, but I wanted to especially thank the following for the opportunities I had been given to share my art with you all.
Fort Gordon Airmen Art Guild for the opportunity to showcase my art while serving in uniform.
4P Studios for my first opportunity to exhibit alongside local artists with whom I made friends.
Greater Augusta Arts Council for the countless opportunities to exhibit my art alongside other local artists at the City Gallery and Augusta & Co.
Better World Studios for the amazing opportunity to be a renting artist in one of their art studios, as well as the opportunity to exhibit with local artists.
Augusta Market for some of my first opportunities to bring my art to the local community and meet people in person.
If you ever have a chance to visit and support these organizations, please do!
From the bottom of my heart, thank you Augusta!
